FX Renews Justified and Archer
Whether you prefer your TV crime-fighters to be smooth-talking, look handsome in hats, and exude an aroma of whiskey or to be potty-mouthed, look handsome in tight black turtlenecks, and smell like cheap whores, FX has good news for you.
The network took care of business today at its Upfront presentation, renewing drama Justified and animated comedy Archer for new seasons. Both moves were expected, but news this good is worth repeating.
Justified, starring Timothy Olyphant as a U.S. Marshal who after a stint in Miami is exiled to work in his hometown in Kentucky, is currently in the middle of its second season. Archer, an animated series about an eccentric top-secret spy agency, is also in the middle of its second season, and will air a few bonus installments this fall (the total Season 3 order is for 16 episodes) before returning next year.
Justified airs Wednesday nights at 10pm and Archer airs Thursday nights at 10pm, both on FX.
