Fashion Scene, // Jan. 1: A trip down memory lane, part deux.

You guys! I hope your New Years Eve didn't suck as bad as mine did! Everything from the pre-dinner rants to the post-dinner urghs and aahs of having simply too much to eat was so much fun but as soon as we left the house it was like there were Sergeant Buzzkills everywhere! Kids were throwing cherry bombs at people during the fire work (which started 10 minutes late and thus midnight kinda just passed by like "Oh hey guys it's midnight... Happy New Year I guess?") drunken people kept harassing me and my friend after we left the "party"(we actually ended up at a fucking tavern where only the owners and their grandchildren were having a drink, wtf guys?) so alas I was in bed by 3 AM.

It was a total bummer and I can honestly say I will never celebrate New Years with this particular group of people, which I love, but simply don't share the same ideas about ringing in a new year with!

Okay I'll stop the nagging now (cause I'm getting angry again haha) and proceed to what this blog post really is about: A photodump of my favourite outfits of the past year!

Feb. 8 and Jan. 13

Alright the first picture is actually totally horrible I swear to god I don't really look like that in real life! Haha. Anyway, as you can tell I've never been a fan of truely wintery outfits. I'd rather just wear lightweight tops with a cardigan (or two cardigans) and thus bundle up in layers. In retrospect, I haven't really worn the dress on the right all that often, even though I still love it dearly! I busted the zipper after wearing it once in the Spring (don't you just hate it when fabric gets stuck in the zipper?) and I kind of forgot about it because it was so unbelievably hard to get in and out of the dress with the zipper being half undone, haha. This particular dress was actually on my list of dresses to wear for New Years, but when I put it on again I came to the conclusion it was a bit too casual/kiddylike to be wearing with tights and brogues (because there's no way in hell I'm wearing heels when going out haha).

May 13 & Jun. 27

I had a long break from serious blogging when in doubt about school and the path life was taking (basically because I was constantly in PJs haha) but then summer was here and the need to wear pretty outfits had taken over. The black maxi dress is a serious pain in the ass to wear because it's too long and shapeless for my frame so I have to wear it with a belt and a jacket in order for me to not look like a giant piece of cloth. Might have to figure something out before Spring is back! I do however, love how long my hair is in the left pic. Jesus I wish it would be that length again! I'm definitely going to try and grow it out for Summer, yet I'm keeping the straight bangs like in the right pic. The bag I'm wearing there is practically dying by the way, I bought it a few years back at Bershka and last Summer it made a true comeback! I'm actually sad about it ripping apart!

Aug. 3 & Aug. 30

These two outfits were typical for my fucked up hip situation. The truly loyal reader might remember that I had an inflamed tendon in my hip for which I had a shit ton of sessions of physiotherapy - well I wore nothing but leggings during that month and a half, haha. Also, I can't wait to wear my denim jacket again! 

Sep. 15 & Dec. 2

I went through a little wardrobe crisis when I started my job, and I still sort of do. It's hard to find a balance between my "current" cutesy wardrobe and the London cool AllSaints does. I'm always joking that I need two closets, one for my "old" clothes and everything I got from AllSaints, haha, because really, the two are pretty much impossible to mix (except for the basic pieces, obviously)!

Overall, my style hasn't really changed all too much over the course of the year, unless you count make up, hair and trivia! I got a fresh hair cut (straight bangs) and started exploring the world of make up. My favourite look is most definitely the 50s pin-up thing with the liquid eye liner cat eyes and the red lips, it's pretty much my day to day look now. Also, I got my nose pierced, and as of last Tuesday, the stud has been replaced for a ring, yay me! Stay tuned for pics (even though the wound is slightly reddish right now, uh-oh)!

Street style et vélib

My friends : I am overwhelmed with my work. I have so many beautiful pictures and stories to share with you but so little time. I try to launch my first tee shirts collection to make a living with my art because as you can see it : it’s too hard for me to keep on working on Style and the City without money. I hope you’ll support me by buying our gorgeous tee shirts. Online this week end.
Heureux mais débordé mes amis. Je suis hyper méga débordé : entre la boutique de tee shirts à lancer pour pouvoir vivre de mon travail, les shootings, les préparations des albums pour l’appli iPhone, quelques magazines qui me demandent des photos mais toujours la veille pour le lendemain, sans oublier des problèmes inhérents à tout travail en équipe, je ne m’en sors pas. Je n’arrive même plus à répondre aux demandes des adorables personnes que j’ai prises en photos. Si elles me lisent, j’espère qu’elles m’accorderont un répis. Je dois filer prendre quelques photos pour un magazine, puis faire un shooting pour notre boutique de tee shirts que nous voulons lancer ce week end. Puis j’irai dans un Starbucks bosser sur les nouveaux albums que je dois offrir dans l’application iPhone. Ensuite… Bref. Je vais tacher de garder le sourire en vous en offrant un beau.

Je compte sur vous pour vous offrir un superbe tee shirt de notre collection « 100% beauté naturelle ». J’ai quitté la presse féminine pour rendre hommage aux vraies femmes et ne pas voir ma créativité, mon imagination bridée par qui que ce soit. Je vois le résultat de notre première collection de tee shirt et j’en suis plus que fier. De la magnifique fille dont la photo a été imprimée sur le tee shirt (ici Claire, de New York), jusqu’au model qui pose pour moi (ici Carolina), toutes sont des filles croisées dans la rue et qui ont adoré le concept de cette collection « humaine ». Et devinez quoi ! A chaque tee shirt vendu, la fille imprimée gagne de l’argent et même un voyage à Paris ou New York si vous êtes 1000 à acheter son tee shirt.


C’est parce que je suis LIBRE que je peux créer cela. C’est parce que je n’ai pas peur de PRENDRE DES RISQUES, D’INNOVER que je peux vous offrir cela. N’ayez jamais peur de prendre des risques mes amis. N’ayez jamais peur de vous opposer à un système qui écrase votre dignité et vous réduit à des moutons. Votre liberté et votre bonheur sont à ce prix.
Je ne sais pas si vous serez nombreux à partager mes valeurs, ma vision de la mode. Je ne sais pas si vous serez nombreux à acheter nos tee shirts. Matthieu, Rémi, Karen et moi, nous l’espérons de tout nos coeurs car c’est beaucoup de passion et de travail derrière chaque tee shirt. Mais une chose est sûre : quand mes futurs enfants liront ce blog, ils seront fier de moi. Et il n’y a que cela qui compte à mes yeux et justifie tous mes combats, tous mes sacrifices. Je dois filer. je vous souhaite une excellente journée. A ce soir.

I wasnt really stressed about this untill a friend of mine started pressuring me. haha.

I have my first real shoot with a model and hair and make up at the studio at school tomorrow, 

and this is one of the 4 looks i will style. my project was all about college, but carried on towards a more masculine and "careless" look and attitude. We'll see how this goes! 

(obviously will look x 100000^ better on the model eheh :D)

Non ero molto preoccupata fino a che una mia compagna ha iniziato a mettermi ansia (Ele ogni riferimento e' puramente casuale) ahah.

Domani ho il mio primo scatto fotografico con modella trucco parrucco etc :) nello studio a scuola, e questo e' uno dei 4 outfit che (improvvisero') da "stylist"

Il mio progetto parlava di college, ma da un punto di vista piu maschile e "strafottente" :)

speriamo in bene! 

(ovviamente tutto sembrera' 100 mila volte meglio sulla modella :D eheh)

Mango event in Milan

One of those nights to remember: the Mango event in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Milan. A big thanks from my heart to all the people who came for the smiles, the laughs, the sweet words and all the emotions that make me more proud each day of what I do.
